Mini Ecosystem!
We would like to introduce you to our Mini Ecosystem! This bottle ecosystem has been a fun and interactive way to study the carbon cycle in a controlled environment and has been key in understanding how ecosystems function. Inside this wonderful aquarium, we would like to introduce you to our fish Jamal and about 5 teenie tiny snails! Your inquisitive children dove into some questions around this bottle ecosystem, and as a class, we were able to answer several of these questions.
We investigated things such as:
"How will the fish and snails survive if we are not feeding them?"
"How do the plants and animals receive oxygen?" "What would happen if we put a blanket over the bottle?"
"What do the fish eat?"
Here is a link to a great website that inspired this idea!

Social Projects - "It's Your World"
I am so incredibly proud of every single student who presented their Socials project yesterday! The thought, confidence and passion that your amazing children put into these assignments was so impressive. It was very evident that each student put hard work, time and effort into their overall assignment!
